Follows established closing procedures to ensure the security of patient and staff files, data, revenue, inventory, and the facility. Assists in the preparation and administration of the organization's budget. Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume that could impact staffing levels, revenues or expenses. Participates in the review and evaluation of business mix annually. Insures adequate and appropriate inventory of supplies and equipment for the office and patient services. Monitors payroll to insure rates and hours are accurate. Participates in all staff and training meetings. Implements and monitors all HIPAA regulations, policies, and procedures. Provides back up to all office positions as needed insure all operations are completed in a timely manner. Evaluates employees under his/her supervision and submit results to Corporate office Hires, evaluates, and terminates office and field staff; oversees orientation of new organization staff, directly or delegated. Assists Nursing Staff in managing clinical teams and planning. Plans and implements in-service and continuing education programs to meet education and training needs of staff. Identifies appropriate Nurse to perform clinical assessment in conjunction with Field Service Supervisor; communicates directly with Nurse to establish appropriate levels of care, needed resources, visit patterns and length of stay. Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by staff. Develops work methods and procedures that facilitate the rendering of high quality care. Participates in local professional organizations and activities. Promotes FirstChoice's services in the local Community. Reviews and approves all new referrals daily. Investigates and resolves all patient and employee complaints and grievances. Experience with HCHB a plus!
