Staff Development•Registered Nurse Autumnwood Care Center•Tiffin, OH Bethesda Care Center•
Fremont, OH Job Summary:
Bethesda Care Center, a leading provider of exceptional care in Fremont, Ohio, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development Coordinator to lead staff education, training, and orientation programs. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our staff is well-trained, compliant with regulations, and prepared to provide the highest quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation for all staff departments Provide ongoing education and professional development for staff Plan and lead mandatory in-services and continuing education Maintain education records and competency documentation Ensure compliance with state and federal training requirements Oversee clinical competencies for nursing staff and CNAs Maintain and coordinate CPR certification training Assist with quality improvement, infection control, and regulatory readiness Work closely with Director of Nursing, HR, and department leaders
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio Minimum 2 years long-term care or geriatric nursing experience Experience in staff education or leadership preferred Strong communication, training, and organizational skills Knowledge of regulatory requirements in long-term care Willingness to travel between both facilities
Schedule:
Full-time Primarily weekdays Occasional evenings or weekends for training if needed
Work Environment:
Combination of office and clinical setting May assist with hands-on training and demonstrations Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally How to
