Full-Time About Us Cedarvale Commons is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. We foster a supportive environment for both residents and staff, emphasizing teamwork, respect, and clinical excellence. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Unit Manager to oversee daily clinical operations on an assigned unit. This leadership role ensures the delivery of exceptional resident care while supervising nursing staff and maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all nursing care activities within the assigned unit Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and STNAs Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards of care Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely, accurate documentation Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy Assist with staff scheduling and performance evaluations Qualifications Current RN license in the state of Ohio Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing Prior supervisory or management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of regulatory standards and clinical best practices in long-term care Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay Retirement plan options Supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting a resume and cover letter.
