Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital's RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses. Wound RN Manager assists in the supervision of staff in the care of patients as related to skin care. This position is responsible for patient care coordination working with the physician and staff nurse, providing direct operational support for the department, identifying barriers, and working toward resolution. The Manager acts as a clinical resource person for the hospital staff, in regard to integument assessment and in the planning of nursing interventions; acts as a liaison between staff and management, assisting the director in determining staffing needs and identifying problems within the department. The Nurse Manager provides the communication link between patients, physicians and others. The position facilitates problem resolution and collaborates with the manager in assessing quality of care provided, identifying staff strengths and weaknesses, and in evaluation of staff performance. The coordinator interfaces with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning as required.Job Requirements:
Four-year bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school WCC Certification, Oklahoma RN License BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care Three (3) years of experienceSimilar jobs in Tulsa, OK
