Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience as an MA, nurse, or 5+ years in the medical field
  • Medical Assistant certification
  • BLS certification (or obtain within 3 months)
  • Valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and insurance
Preferred:
  • Associate/Bachelor's degree
  • Supervisory experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Summary:
The Medical Floor Supervisor oversees clinical support staff - including Mas, lab techs, and x-ray techs - ensuring smooth daily operations, strong workflows, and a positive patient experience.
Duties Include:
  • Supervise and support clinical support staff
  • Manage weekly/monthly staffing schedules
  • Maintain and improve clinical workflows
  • Support quality improvement initiatives
  • Lead onboarding and training for new staff
  • Assist with MA/lab duties within scope
  • Facilitate team meetings on quality, access, and patient experience
  • Address performance concerns and partner with HR
  • Support Rapid Response Team and crash cart oversight
  • Maintain a safe, clean, patient-centered environment
  • Coordinate supply ordering and inventory
  • Review trends in service utilization and patient concerns
  • Ensure confidentiality and high customer service standards
  • Communicate essential updates to staff
