Job Description

House Supervisor RN Shift - Varied, every other weekend Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized House Supervisor to lead and coordinate patient care operations within a healthcare facility. This vital role ensures seamless communication among clinical teams, maintains high standards of patient safety, and manages daily operational activities. The House Supervisor acts as a central figure in fostering a collaborative environment, overseeing staff performance, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Oversee clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery across departments. Coordinate staffing schedules, assign duties, and supervise team members to maintain optimal coverage and performance standards. Monitor patient safety protocols, including infection control, medication administration, and emergency response procedures like airway management and ventilator support. Serve as a communication hub between nursing staff, physicians, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Manage patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical records review to support clinical decision-making. Lead discharge planning efforts, including coordination with case management for long-term care or home health services. Requirements Current unencumbered Oregon RN license BLS vertification Two (2) years' experience in a hospital required. Experience in Critical Care/Trauma preferred.
