Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to serve in a dual clinical and leadership role. This position combines direct patient care with regional supervisory responsibilities, provider training, and operational support across multiple skilled nursing facilities . Position Summary The Regional Lead NP/PA will function as a practicing provider while also serving as a clinical leader within the organization. This individual will supervise and mentor providers within their assigned region, assist with onboarding and training of new clinicians, ensure adherence to clinical standards, and provide coverage across facilities as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys leadership, teaching, problem-solving, and helping build a high-performing clinical team. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Provide comprehensive medical care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Conduct admissions, follow-up visits, and acute care evaluations. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and facility leadership. Develop and implement treatment plans that support quality outcomes and reduce avoidable hospitalizations. Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the EMR. Regional Leadership & Supervision Serve as a regional clinical leader and mentor for assigned providers. Support performance management and professional development initiatives. Promote clinical best practices and standardization across facilities. Assist leadership with quality improvement initiatives and operational goals. Monitor provider performance, productivity, and documentation standards. Provider Training & Onboarding Train and onboard newly hired Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Conduct clinical shadowing, mentorship, and competency assessments. Provide ongoing coaching and educational support to providers. Assist in developing training materials and clinical workflows. Floating Coverage Provide coverage for providers during PTO, vacancies, leaves of absence, or periods of increased census. Travel throughout the assigned region as needed to ensure continuity of care. Support new facility implementations and operational transitions.
Pay:
$170,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
