As an RN Supervisor, you will play a key role in shaping nursing excellence and ensuring safe, efficient hospital operations. Position Overview LECOM Medical Center and Behavioral Health Pavilion is seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative leadership across nursing units. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, coordinating staffing based on patient needs, and supporting nursing staff during assigned shifts. The RN Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in hospital operations, providing oversight across departments—including the Emergency Department—and serving as a key resource during emergencies and high-acuity situations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee nursing services to ensure optimal patient care delivery Assess patient acuity and staffing needs across all units Develop and adjust staffing plans based on census and acuity (per staffing matrix policies) Collaborate with Unit Leaders to resolve clinical and operational issues Serve as a clinical and operational resource for nursing staff Respond to emergency codes and provide leadership during critical events Monitor supply usage and ensure appropriate resource utilization Provide guidance, feedback, and leadership to nursing personnel Additional Responsibilities Report significant incidents to leadership, including: Patient or family concerns Physician issues Equipment concerns Safety or security matters Regulatory inquiries or events Support staff development and maintain compliance with safety standards Perform supervisory duties in accordance with hospital policies Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience BLS certification (required) ACLS certification (or must obtain within 6 months of hire) Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound clinical decisions Ability to work independently and lead in high-pressure situations Supervisory experience preferred Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast-paced, high-stress clinical environment Exposure to patients, bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and other healthcare hazards Requires lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with patient mobility Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and physical activity May include irregular hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive health benefits Paid time off Retirement plan options Professional development opportunities Apply Today If you are a dedicated RN leader ready to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply now.
