The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Registered Nurse and will excel in providing compassionate care while managing and supporting our nursing staff. We are looking for a leader who can remain composed under pressure and foster a positive, collaborative environment for both patients and colleagues. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to patient care. Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN)

Supervisor:

Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment. Complete assessments of residents at admission and discharge. Supervise nursing staff assigned and allocate duties to LPNs and nursing assistants, as directed. Document services rendered to residents for billing purposes. Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status of residents. Implement established nursing policies and procedures, educating nursing support staff according to facility guidelines. Review charting on a weekly basis for accuracy and completeness. Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures. Respond to need for staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff. Track infection control, exposure control, and resident care trends to provide proactive improvement. Other special projects and duties, as assigned. Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN)

Supervisor:

Proven work experience as a nursing supervisor. Team management skills. Great communication and people skills. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Organizational and problem-solving skills. Current unencumbered CT RN license.
