Zerbe Retirement Community, a family-owned and operated 87 bed Skilled Nursing facility along with Personal Care and Independent Living, has been serving the geriatric community since 1958. We will recognize the needs, accept and value the individuality of each resident, family member, visitor and staff member. As a professional member of the health care team, the ideal candidate is responsible for providing direct nursing care under the supervision of a physician and/or registered nurse. Interested candidates must be of mature and responsible character, in good physical and mental health, have general knowledge of the disease process and medication action, and be proficient in dealing with emergency situations. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN's) handles the med carts and direct care of residents. They are the Charge Nurse for their hallway, overseeing CNA's. They work as a team with their hall CNA's and RN Supervisors.
- Assigning and delegating duties to non-licensed nursing staff
- Monitoring resident care and supervising other nursing staff
- Performing ongoing assessments of residents' physical and mental health

- 7:00 aAm $3,000
