Newtown Square, PA Hours:

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Personal Care Nurse Manager to support the clinical operations of our Personal Care and Memory Care communities. Position Summary The Personal Care Nurse Manager is responsible for supporting the clinical oversight, onboarding, training, and mentoring of Personal Care and Memory Support staff while ensuring quality resident care and regulatory compliance. This role works closely with the Personal Care Administrator to assist with resident assessments, staff supervision, educational programming, and overall department management. The ideal candidate is a collaborative nursing leader with strong resident assessment skills, supervisory experience, and a passion for providing exceptional care to older adults in a supportive and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities Clinical Oversight & Resident Care Assess resident health status and monitor ongoing care needs Support resident admissions, transfers, and discharges within Personal Care and Memory Care Ensure completion and accuracy of resident assessments, documentation, RASP, and DME requirements Provide direct resident care and clinical oversight as needed Monitor and ensure implementation of individualized resident care plans Administer medications and therapies in accordance with policies and nursing standards Respond appropriately to emergencies and initiate emergency procedures when necessary Staff Training & Supervision Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and development of Personal Care and Memory Support staff Support staff education programs, in-services, and ongoing competency training Evaluate staffing needs and assist with scheduling coordination Conduct rounds, audits, and performance reviews for assigned staff Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and leadership Foster teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work environment Documentation & Regulatory Compliance Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately and timely according to Personal Care regulations MonitorEMAR, PCC
dashboards, Point of Care systems, and related documentation systems Maintain compliance with state regulations, HIPAA requirements, and Dunwoody Village policies Participate in Nursing Quality Improvement activities and risk management initiatives Maintain current licensure and CPR certification Department Operations & Leadership Assist the Personal Care Administrator with overall department operations and initiatives Support implementation of new programs, policies, and operational improvements Participate in emergency preparedness and safety procedures Serve as the designee in the absence of the Personal Care Administrator Accept floor assignments as needed to support resident care operations Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Valid Pennsylvania RN or LPN License Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience Strong resident assessment, communication, and supervisory skills Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams Strong organizational and documentation skills Preferred 2+ years of Long-Term Care or senior living experience Knowledge of 55 Pa. Code Chapter 2600 Personal Care Regulations Experience in Personal Care, Memory Care, or assisted living environments Experience with staff training, mentoring, and leadership responsibilities Physical Requirements This position may require: Standing, walking, sitting, bending, lifting, and assisting residents throughout the workday Exposure to medical equipment, emergency situations, and resident care environments Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations Schedule & Work Environment Full-time exempt position Combination of administrative, supervisory, and direct resident care responsibilities Occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency support may be required Why Work at Dunwoody Village?
