Edenbrook Greenwood Hill, a well-established and a trusted provider in the skilled nursing space located in Pottsville, PA, and a proud member of Eden East, is looking for an RN Unit Manager who will be instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents' care.

Position:

RN Unit Manager Responsibilities:

On-call rotation for weekends This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures by Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines. Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights. Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift. Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Participates as a member of the facility's interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility's nursing services. Experience:

Preferably with at least 1 year of experience as Unit Manager/ Nurse Manager/ Charge Nurse Licensed with current Pennsylvania nursing licensure required. Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program. 2 years of experience in a long-term care or Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred. Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid. Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment. Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
