In this vital role, you will oversee the coordination of nursing services at our free clinic, ensuring seamless delivery of quality healthcare to underserved populations. Your leadership will help create a welcoming environment that promotes health, safety, and well-being for all patients. This position offers an energizing opportunity to contribute to community health initiatives while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Duties Organize and coordinate nursing activities, including patient intake, assessments, and follow-up care. Supervise volunteer nursing staff and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Assist with patient education on health management, medication adherence, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, medical histories, and treatment plans in compliance with privacy regulations. Support clinic operations by managing supplies, equipment, and ensuring infection control procedures are followed diligently. Collaborate with healthcare providers and community partners to facilitate referrals and coordinate comprehensive patient care. Promote a positive clinic environment by providing compassionate support to patients and fostering teamwork among staff. Experience Valid registered nurse (RN) license with current PA certification. Current experience with Epic EHR Prior experience working in community health clinics or similar healthcare settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of primary care practices, triage procedures, and basic medical assessments. Ability to pass an FBI criminal records check, as well as a Pennsylvania Child abuse check (The clinic is in a facility that has children) Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse populations. Ability to organize workflows efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience supervising or mentoring volunteers or junior staff is a plus.
