Registered Nurse Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional patient care across diverse healthcare settings. Duties Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage staffing schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and provide ongoing training to enhance team performance. Ensure adherence to infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and safety protocols across all clinical activities. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized discharge planning and treatment plans. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation, order entry, and data management. Monitor quality metrics related to patient care, including pain management, medication administration, and diagnostic evaluations. Facilitate staff development through coaching and education. Experience Proven supervisory experience within a healthcare setting, demonstrating effective nurse management skills. Long Term Care experience. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems. Familiarity with specialized areas such as geriatrics, behavioral health, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), or long-term care facilities. Knowledge of utilization review and utilization management principles to optimize patient outcomes while maintaining compliance. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
