Currently in search of an experienced Unit Manager who specializes in behavioral health , to join our amazing, strong & dedicated nursing teams at our Rhode Island skilled nursing facilities
Positions Summary:
The Unit Manager is responsible for the 24 hours a day, seven days a week management of a behavioral health nursing unit where your patient population may consist of those with anxiety or mood disorders, substance abuse, Alzheimer's disease, or other forms of dementia. Responsibilities include the planning, assignments, implementations and evaluations of direct resident care on unit including the training and supervision of staff, communication with physicians, family members and staff. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations governing skilled nursing facility operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Holds a current Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Rhode Island or compact state Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One year experience in behavioral health setting required
