Job Description
RN Unit Manager •$2,500 Sign-on Bonus Wilson Senior Care is hiring for a RN Unit Manager at our Honorage facility located in Florence, SC. Wilson Senior Care is an employee-owned organization that has a long history of providing quality skilled nursing care in multiple locations throughout South Carolina. Come Experience the Difference of working for an Employee-Owned Company! Render nursing care to residents as indicated. Oversight of resident care and services on Unit. Monitors and evaluates resident condition and report signs/symptoms and changes in condition to physician and responsible party as indicated. Maintains accurate and complete medical records reflective of care and services per current Standards of Practice. Assumes responsibility for assisting with meds and treatments as needed (including IV fluids and IV meds). Provides 1:1 coaching and assist in education as indicated. Assists on orientation of new staff. Attends and participates in in-service and educational programs. Routine and Monthly Physician Order checks to ensure accuracy. Makes residents rounds to ensure quality care and assess need for additional or modified services. Assists physician during rounds. Supervises direct care staff. Makes changes in staff schedule as indicated by absence and illness and contact additional help to obtain their services where needed. Inspects unit at beginning and ending of each shift, as well as prn. Admits/discharges patients and complete Admission and Re-Admission assessments as indicated. Review all potential infections/antibiotic use to see if it meets McGreer criteria and enter infection data into AHT timely.
