Overview Join our dedicated team as an LPN/RN Evening House Supervisor in our Senior Care facility, where your leadership and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. Oversee resident safety, comfort, and well-being during evening hours, including monitoring vital signs and responding promptly to urgent needs. Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to facilitate effective patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Manage emergency situations by implementing appropriate protocols for airway management, acute pain management, or other urgent medical interventions. Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms and common areas to uphold infection control standards and safety protocols. Provide leadership in training staff on dementia care, behavioral health management, and other specialized senior care practices including memory care and Alzheimer's support. Skills Proven supervisory experience in healthcare settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or long-term care environments. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient assessment techniques, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support (BLS). Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Point Click Care, or Athenahealth for medical documentation and utilization review processes. Experience with senior-specific care needs including dementia care, behavioral health management, and geriatrics. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor during emergencies or high-pressure situations. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing clear guidance to staff members. Knowledge of infection control practices, sterile processing procedures, and aseptic techniques relevant to elderly patient care.
