Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will play a critical role in overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure efficient patient care delivery. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies. Requirements Current nursing license (LPN/RN) in the state of practice. Proven experience in hospital medicine, geriatrics, medical-surgical, outpatient settings, or emergency room environments. Familiarity with skilled nursing protocols and regulations is preferred. Strong skills in vital signs assessment and experience administering injections. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing care. Previous leadership or charge nurse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
