Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinic Coordinator / Triage Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric healthcare team. This role is responsible for coordinating daily clinical operations, providing patient triage support, and assisting in the supervision and leadership of clinic staff. The ideal candidate is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with strong pediatric experience, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated leadership abilities in a fast-paced clinical environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform telephone and in-office triage for pediatric patients using clinical judgment and established protocols Assess patient symptoms, prioritize care needs, and communicate recommendations to providers and families Coordinate daily clinic flow to ensure efficient patient care and operations Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and workflow management within the clinic Support and mentor clinical staff while promoting teamwork and accountability Collaborate with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient care Document patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, follow-up care, and preventative health measures Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and ensure exam rooms are appropriately stocked Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Address patient concerns professionally and assist in resolving clinic-related issues Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development activities Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required Previous leadership, charge nurse, or clinic coordination experience preferred Strong knowledge of pediatric triage procedures and nursing protocols Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Proficiency with EMR systems and standard office software CPR/BLS certification required Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement plan options Professional development opportunities
