Responsibilities:

Supervise nursing staff during weekend shifts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal patient care delivery Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to evaluate health status accurately Manage medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, medication administration, and treatment plans for diverse patient populations Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed and aseptic techniques are maintained Facilitate team management by fostering a collaborative work environment focused on excellent patient care

Requirements:

Valid RN license with current state licensure to practice nursing in the designated region Proven supervisory or nurse management experience in settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care agencies Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations Excellent communication skills for working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; experience in family planning or occupational health is a plus Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are advantageous Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience that fosters teamwork while maintaining compliance with NCQA standards and healthcare regulations This role offers an energetic environment where your expertise directly influences patient outcomes.
