Job Description

Job Overview Principal Care of Texas is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Manager / Director of Nursing (DON) to help lead and grow our Home Health division. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining compliance with Texas and federal regulations, and supporting the development of a compassionate, patient-centered culture. We are looking for a strong clinical leader who is organized, proactive, team-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional care in the home setting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing agency and help shape operations, workflows, and clinical excellence from the ground up. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the Home Health agency Supervise and support nursing staff and clinical personnel Ensure compliance with Texas HCSSA, Medicare, and agency regulations Review and monitor patient documentation for accuracy and timeliness Assist with development and oversight of individualized patient care plans Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Participate in staff training, onboarding, and clinical guidance Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance activities Monitor scheduling, staffing coordination, and clinical workflow efficiency Utilize EMR/EVV systems to support accurate documentation and reporting Qualifications Active Texas RN license required Home Health experience required Previous Clinical Manager, DON, or supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of Medicare and Texas Home Health regulations preferred Experience with EMR/EHR systems Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to work independently and support a growing team environment OASIS experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonus opportunities Flexible scheduling Supportive and growth-focused work environment Opportunity to help build and shape a growing Home Health agency Leadership development and long-term growth potential
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
