Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Clinical Nurse to help oversee flu and
COVID-19
vaccination clinics. This leadership position plays a key role in ensuring clinics run smoothly, maintaining high standards of nursing care, and ensuring compliance with state health regulations. This is a seasonal position; however, we are seeking candidates interested in returning for future seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of flu and
COVID-19
vaccination clinics. Ensure clinics operate efficiently and effectively. Hire and onboard clinical and support staff as needed. Provide training to nurses and clinic staff on protocols, nursing standards, and best practices. Ensure adherence to state health regulations, nursing standards, and internal policies. Act as a resource for nurses and clinic staff, offering guidance and resolving challenges. Attend clinics as necessary to provide leadership, oversight, and hands-on support. Monitor clinic performance and address any issues to uphold a high standard of patient care. Oversee and manage vaccine and supply inventory to ensure adequate stock for all clinics. Which includes receiving shipments at the office location. Set up your state's VaxPro office location. Build and maintain strong relationships with clinic clients and community partners. Address client needs and ensure satisfaction with clinic operations. Participate in weekly leadership staff meetings to review clinic performance and plan future initiatives. Conduct clinical staff meetings as needed to provide updates and address team concerns.
Qualifications:
Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
Certifications :
BLS certified (American Heart Association)
Experience:
3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role (preferred).
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of vaccination protocols and state health regulations.
Skills:
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Flexibility:
Willingness to travel within Texas to attend clinics as needed.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Pay:
$50.00 per hour
