WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Nurse Manager, you'll provide 24/7 leadership for the Medical/Surgical department while ensuring high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and staff engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Lead daily operations and oversee clinical and administrative functions. Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff. Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, performance evaluations, and employee engagement. Foster strong relationships with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Drive quality initiatives, patient satisfaction, and operational performance. Support departmental goals while maintaining financial stewardship and regulatory compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.

LICENSURE

Current Texas RN license or Compact RN license.

EXPERIENCE

Recent Nurse Manager or Director experience in an acute care hospital preferred. Strong Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) candidates ready to advance into management are encouraged to apply. Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care Medical/Surgical nursing experience.

COMPENSATION
