Full Job Description Staff Development Coordinator Location:
Galveston, TX Status:
Full-Time Pay:
$32-$42/hr We are hiring a Staff Development Coordinator to lead onboarding, training, clinical education, and ongoing staff development within our facility! This role is heavily involved in helping new employees transition into the building successfully while supporting the continued growth and development of the clinical team. From orientation and skills training to ongoing education and compliance, this position plays a major role in strengthening consistency across the facility and supporting quality resident care. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and being actively involved with staff throughout the building. What You'll Be Doing Coordinate and lead clinical onboarding and orientation for new hires Conduct skills training, in-services, and ongoing staff education Support CNA education, competency development, and training compliance Maintain employee education records and required documentation Assist with survey preparedness and regulatory compliance Provide hands-on support and education throughout the building Work closely with nursing leadership to identify education opportunities and performance needs Help strengthen retention through consistent onboarding and staff support What We're Looking For Current Texas LVN or RN license Previous experience in SNF/LTC preferred Previous staff development, education, or leadership experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to lead education and training in both group and one-on-one settings Team-oriented approach with strong follow-through Why Join Us?
