Shift Information:
This position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm What we offer: Health Insurance 401(k) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid time off Tuition Reimbursement | HPSA Designated Employee Education Scholarships Employee Referral Program Merit Increases Free access to a beautiful onsite fitness facility What you will do: The PSC Clinic Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership to nursing staff, ensuring quality medical care by nursing staff, ensuring availability of medical supplies in the delivery of services, and managing change. Staff development duties include coaching, motivating, scheduling, evaluating, training and developing clinical employees. Serves as a resource for nursing staff. Routinely assists the physicians, providers, and clinical staff in the examination and treatment of patients in the clinic. May perform diagnostic testing, maintain supply inventory levels, and clean/maintain medical equipment. Works closely with the Business Office supervisor. Works closely with the Practice Manger, leadership team, providers, staff and patients assuring satisfaction and efficiency.
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Required Skills:
Nursing, supervision of employees, communication and interpersonal skills, understanding of physician office work flows. Current CPR (BLS) required.
Preferred Skills:
As above plus EMR< understanding of insurance processes, quality improvement initiatives, office management. Required Licensure /Registration /
Certification:
Current licensure as a vocational registered nurse
Required Experience:
At least two years of nursing experience; supervisory or lead experience.
Preferred Experience:
At least three years of nursing experience, 2 of which were in a supervisory capacity in a medical office setting.
