Oncology Infusion Clinic
SCHEDULE
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Must have Oncology experience. Ability to manage infusion and clinic activities on a daily basis as well as jump in to assist RN's. 15 infusion chairs, 6 exam rooms, 2 docs - adding 3 rd MD in the Fall; about 45 clinic visits/day and about 40 infusion visits/day About Us Here at Baylor Scott & White Health we promote the well-being of all individuals, families, and communities. Job Summary As a Ambulatory Nursing Manager you will also focus on ensuring the clinical specialty program runs efficiently and cost-effectively. Handles policies execution, budget oversight, quality enhancement measures, and organizes educational programs to meet departmental and company goals. Essential Functions of the Role You'll coordinate patient care, promote evidence-based practices, conduct research, and advocate for patients, families, and staff. You'll manage department operations, including budgeting and staffing. Your role will also focus on ensuring the clinical specialty program runs efficiently and cost-effectively. Accountable for supportive work environment for nursing team. Emphasizes top-notch nursing practices and ensures safe space for patients, families, and staff. Key Success Factors You will need a solid grasp of nursing, patient care, medical terms, ethics, and privacy laws. Knowing how to care for different age groups is crucial too. Good communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and teamwork are key for success. Being professional, dedicated, and serving the community are also essential. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing Have a minimum of (3) three years' experience in this field Are licensed as Registered Nurses Must already have Basic Life Support certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
