LVN Charge Nurse 10p/6a Willow Ridge Wellness & Rehabilitation White Settlement, TX Job Details Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Nursing policy compliance Direct patient care Nursing department supervision LVN Patient monitoring Nursing team management Mid-level Healthcare infection prevention and control expertise Nursing procedure compliance Patient family and caregiver education Patient care leadership LPN Patient treatment Care coordination Quality assurance within healthcare Implementing nursing quality improvement initiatives Full Job Description Objective Supervises nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines. Principal Responsibilities Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the HCR Infection Control Manual. Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Q.A.A. Utilizes the Quality Life Practice Guide Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs. Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc. Conducts family and patient education. Locates and uses emergency equipment when necessary. Qualifications Currently licensed LPN/LVN in state. One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.
