Job Description
Salt Lake Behavioral Health is currently seeking a compassionate and talented RN House Supervisor for our
Night Shift:
Sunday, Monday & Tuesday (7pm-7am). At Salt Lake Behavioral Health Hospital, we understand that not all wounds are visible. Depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction and suicide affects millions of individuals and families. Our mission is to transform lives through exceptional patient care. Salt Lake Behavioral Health is a private 118 bed freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults. We serve the Salt Lake City and surrounding area using evidence-based treatments in a comfortable, confidential atmosphere. The RN House Supervisor is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The House Supervisor is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performances Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to his/her unit. Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management; bachelor's degree preferred.Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility plus a minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory role.Licensure:
