As an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) you will be responsible for developing, achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations.

Essential functions to the success of this role include: + Consistently promote a positive & healthy work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. + Collaboratively work with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting initiatives, and ensuring units/departments are appropriately staffed. + Assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education. + Daily productivity and expense management and support unit/department manager with budget preparation. + Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals. + Encourage employee participation in decision through shared governance and support change management. + Support professional development to improve employee retention.

• Job Requirements
• In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified Assistant Nurse Manager candidates will need the following: + 2 years clinical RN experience + 6 months
• 1 year clinical leadership experience, preferred + A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN) + Current RN License to practice in state of employment + Life Support Certifications per Department Standards; e.

g. NRP, EFM, TNCC, etc. +

Nursing Specialty Certification:

+ Required to sit for certification within 6 months of hire/transfer + Must achieve certification within 2 years of hire/transfer into this role Physical Requirements
