Supervisor Nurse Manager in Manassas, VA

Category Nursing - Nurse Manager Job Type Direct Hire This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Nurse Supervisor to take a leading role in launching a new pharmacy and infusion suite. As the sole nurse to start, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the clinical environment, providing both infusion services in the suite and at patients' homes. This position oversees the full spectrum of acute and specialty drug infusions and will require local travel (up to 1 hour one way) to patient residences, including homes with pets and cigarette smoke. Pay is up to $120,000.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (variable) On-call rotation, including nights and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and indirect skilled nursing care in both infusion suite and home settings Implement and manage physician orders, ensuring quality and compliance Oversee clinical operations, participate in hiring, training, and evaluating nursing staff Maintain rigorous documentation in line with regulatory standards Ensure timely and accurate completion of billing-related documentation Collaborate in the development and assessment of clinical and administrative protocols Respond promptly to urgent and emergency situations, maintaining operational integrity

Desired Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN required; MSN preferred) Active RN licensure in good standing Minimum 2 years nursing experience in home infusion, specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy, or critical care At least 2 years pediatric nursing experience is ideal At least 1 year of supervisory or administrative management experience within the last 5 years in home health, infusion, or a related field Advanced certifications (CRNI, ONS, IgRN) desirable, though not required Clinical expertise in vascular access and IV therapies Proficiency using MS Office Valid state driver's license with no significant restrictions Availability during all operating hours and emergencies Step into a key leadership role and help build a premier infusion service from the ground up.
