Job Description

As a leading Residential Treatment Center in the Greater Richmond area, Hallmark Youthcare treats adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues triggered by trauma. Treatment is provided in a warm and friendly environment by a group of well-trained, highly motivated staff that takes pride in delivering quality care. We are currently accepting applications for a Manager of Nursing to coordinate the day to day delivery of quality nursing care to Hallmark Youthcare's resident population Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, Master's preferred Three years of psychiatric nursing experience with at least a year of demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience preferred Experience working with adolescents 11 to 17 years of age Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure CPR and Handle With Care certification required
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated proficiency in nursing knowledge and skills. Must have strong skills in supervision Ability to implement facility policies related to the provision of care and services provided to residents. Assists in creating, maintaining, and managing a safe therapeutic milieu. Ability to work well with others in a team setting Must possess good problem solving skills Ability to exercise good nursing judgment Must possess good oral and written communication skills Because we value our employees we offer a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.
