Staunton, VA Position:
Associate Administrator Compensation:
$90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience, credentials, and demonstrated leadership. As our Associate Administrator for Assisted Living, you will oversee the clinical operations of our assisted living program while guiding a dedicated team that is passionate about enriching the lives of older adults through person-centered care.

What You'll Do Provide clinical leadership and direction for the assisted living nursing services, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centered care. Supervise, coach, and evaluate clinical and caregiving staff, promoting best practices and adherence to policies and procedures. Oversee assessments, care planning, care coordination, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal resident outcomes. Partner with the leadership team on staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to support quality care and operational efficiency. Ensure ongoing readiness for surveys, licensing, and compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. Lead quality improvement efforts by monitoring clinical indicators, implementing corrective actions, and driving best-practice initiatives. Build strong, positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners, serving as a trusted clinical resource and advocate. Champion a culture of safety, respect, and resident well-being in all aspects of care delivery. What We're Looking For Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing, as required by state regulations. Administrator license preferred Must be able to obtain an Assisted Living Administrator license within one of start date. Current certification in CPR and Adult First Aid through the American Red Cross and/or American Heart Association. Prior experience in a healthcare setting; assisted living or long-term care experience strongly preferred. Completion of required assisted living manager training (state-specific requirements apply). Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an assisted living or long-term care environment, preferably in Virginia. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop clinical and caregiving staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information. High level of professionalism, empathy, and respect for the rights, dignity, and sensitivities of older adults and individuals with disabilities. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), electronic medication administration records (eMAR), and Microsoft Office applications. Successful completion of required background checks, including a sworn statement or affirmation and a criminal history check free of barrier crimes.
