Job Description

About Us:
At Northwest Integrated Health we offer a true patient-centered, comprehensive, integrated treatment model. Our board-certified addiction specialists treat addiction as a medical specialty. We offer the full spectrum of treatment options to our patients. When a patient contacts one of our treatment centers, they get assessed by a physician and a substance use disorder professional (SUDP). Evidence-based treatment options are discussed with the patient; and a treatment plan which offers the best outcomes is devised.
Position Summary:
The lead nurse- licensed practical nurse position is a nurse with a valid Washington State license as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). Under the direction of the Medical Director the lead LPN will coordinate, implement, and assess the delivery of care for individuals while providing support to nursing staff and treatment to individuals with substance use disorders.
Supervises :
LPNs Primary Responsibilities:
Provide trainings and support/supervision surrounding policy and procedures for nursing staff; Ensure nursing staff are meeting agency and law documentation requirements; Coordinate, implement, and assess the delivery of care for individuals; Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team; Create staff schedules, rotating on-call hours for staff call outs and clinic after hours calls; Assist providers in documenting requests for SAMHSA exceptions and monitoring site for updated information; Responsible for inventory/safe counting and proper documentation of used/unused medication; Safe and efficient dispensing of medication. This may include pipette/syringe dispensing as needed when computers are down; Maintain all paperwork/charting requirements as established by laws or agency by use of the certified electronic health record system; Provide direct patient care and patient education as needed; Complete admission paperwork for courtesy dosing clients and enter orders from physician correctly and in a timely manner; Utilizes sound clinical judgement and the nursing process for assessment/triaging of client conditions; Implement and ensure the use of Evidence-Based (EBP) for all screening, assessment, and interventions; Assist and comply with all policies and procedures to prevent diversion; Complete blood draws, EKGs, urine drug screens and breathalyze clients as necessary; Monitor tuberculosis, HIV, and Hepatitis C testing for all clients and assist with making referrals as necessary. Coordination of patient care with internal and external staff/community partners. Serve clients in a culturally competent, client-centered manner An occupational exposure to human blood, blood products or otherwise potentially infectious materials; Attend and participate in team meetings; Other duties as assigned by
Medical Director License, Education, Experience Required:
Valid Washington State license as a licensed practical nurse required; Minimum 1-year experience working in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment; Valid CPR certification
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
