Job Description

Waters Edge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality care. This key leadership role oversees daily nursing operations within a specific unit, supports staff development, and promotes a safe and compassionate environment for our residents. Unit Manager Requirements Active (RN) or (LPN) license in Wisconsin with a minimum of 3 years of Nursing Experience Required Previous nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing Leadership experience preferred (Nurse Supervisor or Unit Manager, Charge Nurse etc.) Memory Care and Trach Care experience Strongly Preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for team-building and delivering person-centered care Unit Manager Responsibilities Manage and supervise nursing staff on assigned unit Oversee daily nursing operations including staffing, scheduling, and workflow Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Monitor resident outcomes, quality measures, and regulatory compliance Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to nursing staff Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting Participate in resident and family meetings to address concerns and ensure satisfaction of care Be a part of clinical Leadership call rotation Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of nursing staff as needed Why Join Waters Edge Health and Rehabilitation Center We believe in supporting the people who care for our residents every day.
