hour evening/night shifts with a weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on operational needs of the department. You will be working at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

  • Care Team Supervisor to: Provide operational leadership and front-line mentorship, serving as a clinical resource to ensure the delivery of safe, competent, and evidence-based patient care Partner with leadership to direct reports through the full employment lifecycle from hiring and scheduling to coaching and evaluation, while fostering an engaging environment where staff practice at the top of their license Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage daily resource allocation and optimize patient throughput Lead safety huddles, patient rounding, and audits to ensure compliance with ANA, Magnet, and regulatory standards Lead with strong emotional intelligence to foster a culture of shared governance and continuous improvement, while effectively managing human and material resources to maintain fiscal responsibility At UW Health, you will have : An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, two-week paid parental leave and adoption assistance Access to great resources through the UW Health Employee Wellbeing Department that supports your emotional, financial, and physical well-being.

Education :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Required Master's Degree in Nursing or relevant field
  • Preferred Work Experience :
    2 years of relevant experience in clinical practice
  • Required 2 years of relevant experience in the applicable level of care
  • Preferred 5 years of relevant experience in clinical practice
  • Preferred Management or Supervisory experience with demonstrated success
  • Preferred License and Certifications :
    Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wisconsin or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact
  • Required Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Required Certification in specialty area
