Nursing Supervisor - Clinic

POSITION SUMMARY

Plans, coordinates and evaluates the daily functions of the department personnel. Solves basic problems as are pertinent to the routine activities of the department. Assists the manager with technical and administrative functions of the department. Ensures that high levels of patient care and communication occur in order to meet and exceed hospital Pillar/Strategic goals The Nurse Supervisor is encouraged to participate in the Clinical Advancement Ladder for professional development.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current WV State Licensure required: Nursing certification in a relevant field is preferred Must possess BLS and ACLS within the probationary period.

EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years of clinical experience within the designated field is preferred. One (1) year of previous management experience is preferred.
