Job Description:
Serves as the subject matter expert and clinical resource the food platform interface and menu issues to various departments and staff. Troubleshoots and resolves errors, makes system adjustments, and provides remote computer support and step-by-step guidance. Assists with the creation and implementation of patient services' menus and collaborates with designated food platform project managers. Ensures integration of the foodservice program and electronic health record databases, accurately coding allergens into the database. Ensures therapeutic diets meet organizational and regulatory requirements and agreement between diets available in i-Extend and food platform diets. Collaborates with other departments to schedule services and network requirements for accurate and timely patient meal service. Maintains and audits all individual campus and or any cloud-based food platform databases, integrating new menus, diets, supplements, and patterns with clinical and AIT applications. Creates, implements, and updates all therapeutic diets, individual menu items, and recipes, coding items for compliance, allergies, and preferences. Facilitates, implements, and manages food platform upgrades for all campuses, including hardware functionality and drivers, testing new functions and builds. Maintains the test environment and manually tests the accuracy of each diet, meal, and day on all individual campus databases. Develops and provides food platform training and training materials to NS leaders, other users, and dietetic interns, facilitating ongoing training related to changes and upgrades. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. [Required] Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. [Required] Demonstrate appropriate decision making, problem solving and collaboration. [Required] Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines. [Required] Creative, innovative, and receptive to change. [Required] Working knowledge of computers, databases, and networking concepts. [Required] Working knowledge of therapeutic diets and food allergies. [Required] Ability to modify and scale recipes. [Required] Proficient in Windows Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. [Required] Mathmatic capabilities essential to job duties. [Required] Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English. [Required] Previous experience creating, evaluating, and scaling recipes [Required] CBORD database experience [Preferred] CBORD Nutrition Service Suite knowledge (NSS). [Preferred] CBORD Food Service Suite (FSS). [Preferred] Bi-lingual, Spanish. [Preferred]
Education:
Master's [Required]
Field of Study:
in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition or nutrition-related field
Work Experience:
2+ experience in clinical nutrition [Required] 2+ experience with electronic health records or nutritional analysis software [Required]

Pay Range:
