What You'll Do:

As a Dietetic Technician at Sodexo, you are driven to make an impact in people's lives with good nutritional health. You will be our guiding light of nutrition: instruct individuals and so much more. Your passion will raise awareness on healthy living and improve lives.

Responsibilities include:

Participates in the implementation of the Nutrition Care Process in general clinical practice through nutrition screening and data collection to support the RDN in assessment and nutrition diagnosis. Completes other tasks as delegated by the RDN to support intervention, monitoring and evaluation; is accountable for the provision of safe and reliable care and services, including referral to the RDN when a higher level of care is warranted. Completes documentation in accordance with individual and statutory scope of practice, regulatory standards, and facility policies, protocols and practice guidelines. Provides evidence-based nutrition education, guidance and training as assigned by the RDN or operations leaders to meet basic clinical needs, promote overall health & wellness, educate personnel, interns and students on nutrition care strategies, and support foodservice staff competency. Functions within established educational, operational and documentation guidelines using resources as provided and initiates referrals as needed to elevate care, support continuation/adjustment of nutrition care plans or enhance educational processes. Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

Associate's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice in a Dietetic Technician Program as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework in a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) as dictated by ACEND, or required coursework and supervised practice in a Certified Dietary Manager Program as dictated by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) 0 to 1 year work experience.
