Job Description
Participates as a member of the Nutrition Service Team with primary responsibility for performing a variety of tasks (preparing, plating, and serving food) as assigned for patient/resident or retail meals. Follows standard practices and regularly scheduled hours.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or general education equivalent, and one year of restaurant or institutional cooking experience required. Must pass annual Serve safe competency course.
Skills and/or knowledge needed are:
ability to read and follow recipes (basic ingredient measuring knowledge), safely use and clean kitchen equipment, basic math, reading, comprehension and manual dexterity skills. •
