Job Description

Receive 17% Weekday Nights, 26% Weekend Nights and 15% Weekend Day shift differentials Minimum Offer $ 16.15/hr. Maximum Offer $ 20.06/hr. Rotating Position Summary:
Perform a variety of clerical duties in support of nutritional care and patient food service area. Ensure adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed responsibilities:
MENUS•Correct menus according to diet plan, tally menus and prepare food production guide
COMPLIANCE
•Adhere and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards, JCAHO and other regulatory agency requirements RECORDS•Maintain and prepare various patient records to include labels, cardexes and menus; record diet changes and update changes accordingly
PATIENT TRAYS
•Prepare and distribute menus; deliver patient formulas and trays according to schedule
INVENTORY
•Stock a variety of materials and supplies to ensure adequate inventory; order supplies as needed
COMPUTER AND PHONES
•Operate computer to retrieve information; answer phone calls related to patient nutrition care taking appropriate action
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS
•Establish and maintain effective interpersonal business relationships with patients, visitors, physicians and all Hospitals personnel TRAYS•Check patient trays for accuracy
