Job Description

•Req Number•188792 Job Description Responsible for overseeing & updating patient's diet information in the food management system, CBORD. Under supervision, modifies patient menu selections in accordance with patient's diet prescription, and provides consultation to patient and family as directed. Job Responsibility Answers telephones and relays information to kitchen staff concerning diet changes, meal changes, complaints, food allergies, or patient discharge. Routinely verifies accuracy of information from EMR. Takes Room Service menu orders via telephone or in person and provides guidance and support to patients regarding menu selections. May participate in food service tray-line production and ensures patient meal tray accuracy as assigned. Under dietitian's supervision, ensures accuracy and compliance of patient menu items. Assists with recipe analysis and hospital and dietary guidelines adherence. Participates in training and orienting of new employees to the department, tray line, and Room Service office. Assists dietitians in food service monitoring and planning. Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification Associate's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or related field, required. 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferred. •Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
