Travel Dietetic Technician Location New York, NY Job Overview A leading hospital in New York City is seeking a skilled Dietetic Technician for an 8-week assignment within the hospital mixing room and nutrition services department. The ideal candidate will have hospital nutrition experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with electronic feeding management systems. Shift Details Day Shift 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM 5x8-hour schedule 8-week assignment Responsibilities Support hospital nutrition and dietary operations within the mixing room Assist with preparation and management of specialized nutritional products and feeding supplies Utilize electronic feeding management systems and hospital software Maintain accurate nutrition documentation and records Communicate effectively with clinical staff, patients, and dietary teams Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Perform calculations and measurements related to nutrition preparation and dietary services Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Associate degree required Minimum 2 years of hospital nutrition-related experience required OR enrollment in an approved nutrition education program Food Safety Certification required at time of booking Strong verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal and customer service skills Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite or electronic feeding management systems Strong math and calculation skills Preferred Qualifications Student currently enrolled in Nutrition or a related healthcare field Previous acute care hospital experience Experience working in hospital dietary or nutrition departments For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
