CNA:
Assist the Dietitian in identifying residents' dietary needs and implementing dietary programs. Communicate residents' nutritional and therapeutic dietary needs with families, staff, and healthcare professionals. Complete and maintain dietary assessments, care plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulations. Promote a calm, supportive, and caring environment for residents and staff. Follow infection control, safety, sanitation, and HIPAA guidelines. Participate in in-service programs, educational opportunities, and team meetings. Support the care team and perform other duties as assigned. Promote dignity, comfort, and well-being.
What We're Looking For:
Graduate of an accredited college or university with a major in food or nutrition. Current Registered Dietetic Technician (DTR) credential. One year of long-term care experience preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude when working with residents and families. Ability to remain calm in stressful or emotionally challenging situations. Physical ability to perform duties that require standing, walking, bending, and assisting residents as needed.
