Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Dietitian / Dietetic Technician to join our skilled nursing team. This role offers an opportunity to provide vital nutritional care across various patient populations, including those in acute care, long-term care, and geriatrics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dietetics and nutrition, with the ability to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and deliver personalized nutritional interventions. This position emphasizes flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through expert dietary management.
Responsibilities:
Complete nutrition assessments, care plans, and MDS Section K documentation Conduct weight, wound, and nutrition-risk reviews Participate in interdisciplinary care planning Provide nutrition education and regulatory support Assist with menu review and quality improvement initiatives Requirements For Registered Dietitian (RD): Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics Active RD credential through CDR Current state licensure (if applicable) For Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) or
Nutrition Technician:
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field Active DTR credential preferred (or equivalent experience in long-term care) Both roles: Prior long-term care or clinical experience preferred Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Reliable and flexible availability
