Job Description
Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is Wisconsin's largest and most diverse technical college, offering 170+ high-quality programs that connect students to a career in as little as one to two years. Under the supervision of the Dean of Healthcare Pathway, to teach classroom, lab (clinical), and online delivery courses in Dietetic Technician Program. Educational Requirements:
Must have the following: A Master's degree in Dietetics, Public Health or Business Administration.Occupational Requirements:
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of full-time or equivalent (4000 hours) work experience as a credentialed practitioner in nutrition and/or food service. In addition, one of the following must be met. At least two (2) years work experience must have occurred within the last five (5) years OR Two (2) years of teaching Nutrition course work at the post-secondary level within the last five (5) years.Certification Requirements:
Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/N) by the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR). Desired- Proof of active membership with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

This position supports the Healthcare Pathway and is available to start in fall semester.Hours:
This is a part-time faculty pool position. This is an "applicant pool" posting. Assignments are temporary, not guaranteed, can vary in hours/days, and will depend entirely on course availability and department needs each semester. All work must be performed in the state of Wisconsin. We are seeking candidates with flexibility to teach assignments to include any combination of the following:Instructional Modality:

The starting hourly wage for all part-time faculty is $40 per course hour of teaching. Part-time faculty are also compensated for an additional 45 minutes of time for each hour of instruction to cover office hours and prep time which is equivalent to $70 per hour.
