OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST POSITIONS

Position Summary :

Duties include but not limited to assessment, evaluation, program planning, consultation in development of IEP's, teaming with and training staff and families, coordination of appropriate therapeutic interventions. Experience in providing support to regular education teachers in accommodating special needs of students in an inclusive environment is desired.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution. Requires valid Alaska state occupational license, AND valid Alaska Type C Special Services certificate, with appropriate endorsement, from the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience working with children having a broad spectrum of disabilities.

Compensation :

Salary is dependent on experience and education. The Juneau School District offers a competitive salary, an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and eligibility for membership in the Teachers Retirement System (TRS) plan.
