Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Experience the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant school community as a contract Occupational Therapist in beautiful Alaska. Engage onsite with students and staff as you support learners through individualized occupational therapy, fostering their development and success throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active Occupational Therapy license for Alaska (AK Licensure required) TYPE C Certification required School-based OT experience highly valued Strong communication and collaborative skills Preference for candidates with Alaska certification
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in a school setting, adhering to established goals and plans Manage an onsite caseload amounting to approximately 1,000 minutes of direct student contact per week (around 16 hours) Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff to develop effective IEPs and intervention strategies Accurately document sessions, track progress, and support eligibility assessments as needed Utilize creativity and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
