Occupational Therapists-Matsu Borough School District Alaska's 2nd largest school district is looking to hire Occupational Therapists for the upcoming school year! We are located 45 minutes outside of Anchorage, AK. We have 18,000+ students across 49 schools.

Glacier View, Sutton, Palmer, Wasilla, Butte, Knik-Fairview, Meadow Lakes, Big Lake, Houston, Willow, Talkeetna and Trapper Creek. Our Mission is to prepare all students for success.

Position Description:

Provides direct occupational therapy services designed to enhance sensorimotor development, self-help skills, eye-hand coordination and other applicable areas. To promote positive public relations and meet compliance standards advocated through the Student Support Services Department. Conducts occupational therapy evaluations, complete necessary reports, and assist members of the IEP Team to understand those results. Aids the individual student in realizing their abilities and adapting to their limitations.

Salary:

$73,785 - $88,646 starting wage, depending on verification of service and education. MSBSD has a competitive Salary Schedule with an accelerated step advancement. Applicants can bring a maximum of 6 years' experience. We pay an additional $3,000 bonus

PER YEAR

for national certification (NBCOT) and provide $3,000 relocation bonus.

Leave:

Each Related Service Provider receives 4 paid personal leave days at the beginning of the year and accrues 1.33 sick leave days each month of employment.

Retirement:

MSBSD is a member of the State of Alaska Teachers Retirement System.
