Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, onsite school-based position in Ridgeway, Alaska serving the Central/Eastern Peninsula area. This is an excellent opportunity for both local providers and travel occupational therapists looking for a rewarding role in a supportive educational environment.   • Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Support student development in fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional independence
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines Qualifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Alaska (or ability to obtain)
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Previous school-based OT experience preferred (not required)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Position Details
Full-time:
37.5 hours per week
  • Onsite only (in-person services required)
  • Covers the Central/Eastern Peninsula region
  • School-year contract with consistent weekly hours
