  • Part-time, Full-time, PRN Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities in various settings, including outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and schools. Preferred experience in pediatrics. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized care plans aimed at enhancing the functional abilities of our patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living skills and overall quality of life. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care management and support for patients. Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance independence and safety in daily activities. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments. Qualifications A valid Alabama Occupational Therapy license. Experience working with individuals with disabilities in outpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, or schools. Pediatric experience is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Ability to create detailed care plans tailored to individual patient needs. A compassionate approach to therapy that emphasizes patient-centered care.
